Double Dot

Terms

Last updated 24 August 2026. These terms cover doubledot.site and the waitlist on it. They are not the terms of the Double Dot app, which does not exist publicly yet and will have its own.

The short version

This is a page describing an app that has not launched. Nothing here is a promise about what the app will do, when it will arrive, or what it will cost. Joining the waitlist gets you one email. You can leave at any time.

Who you are agreeing with

This site is operated by the team behind Double Dot ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it — that is the whole of the bargain, and there is nothing else to sign.

What this site is

An announcement. Double Dot is an iOS app in development. Everything on the launch page — the screenshots, the demonstration card, the description of the four directions — describes work in progress and may change before release. The swipe demonstration on the page is a demonstration and not the app itself; it says so under the card.

We do not promise a release date. "Coming soon" means what it says and no more.

The waitlist

Using the site fairly

Do not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or the servers behind it, and do not submit addresses in bulk. The waitlist endpoint is rate limited; persistent abuse gets blocked.

What belongs to whom

The Double Dot name, the two-dot mark, the interface shown in the screenshots, and the text and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to link to the page and to quote it in a review or an article. You may not copy the design wholesale or present the app as your own.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available, and we do not guarantee either. We are not liable for any loss arising from the site being wrong, slow, or offline, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that — which, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and for fraud, it does not.

Changes

We may change these terms as the product moves toward release. The date at the top is the version in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
